Learn about Pine Crest School’s innovation program, centered around a pre-kindergarten computer science curriculum and staffing iLabs, where students design and build projects integrated with classroom classroom. A nine-week wheel course was more recently introduced that centers around the use of Design Thinking as a tool for students to create thoughtful, well-researched, and creative solutions to real-world problems. The vision is to give student design thinking skills that can be paired with computer science, engineering, and machine fabrication skills to design and prototype effective solutions to a wide variety of problems. In this session, the presenter will share the process of designing the course.
