Welcome to Pine Crest School! I have been part of the Pine Crest community for more than two decades. I have served as a Lower School teacher and Instructional Coach. In January 2014, I was appointed Director of Educational Design and Innovation, and then, a few years later, I was promoted to Executive Director of Educational Design and Strategic Initiatives. Today, as the Vice President of Academics, I work to advance existing and new educational programs within the school. Special attention is given to evaluating and shaping the programs to meet the school's mission and building connections across divisions and disciplines. Professional development and curriculum development is a major piece of this implementation. As the Vice President of Academics, I organize professional development specifically suited to support faculty in implementing new approaches for 21st-century learning. In addition, I also oversee educational technology and work with the members of our Computer Science and Technology Specialists to design and develop curricular learning experiences across all grades, pre-kindergarten through 12.
